Rev François Mbe, General Superintendent of WWM Cameroon
Reverend François Mbe was born in 1961 at Bamougoum, in the western Region of the Republic of Cameroon, Central Africa.
He came to Christ in 1985 in Yaounde at a Pentecostal church and the next year began serving as a part time minister. In 1990 Rev. Mbe responded to the Lord’s call to consecrate himself to serve the Lord and His Church in the full time ministry and began attending Bible School.
In 1996, he joined World Wide Missions as a minister and pastor. During this time he also served as supervisor of the WWM churches of the Central, Western, and parts of the Littoral region.
In 2001, Rev. Mbe was elected General Secretary of World Wide Missions Cameroon and in 2006 was appointed National Spiritual Coordinator by Brother Jonathan Smalldridge (who took over from Rev Ebai Aloysuis Ebai, the former Superintendent) director of World Wide Missions Cameroon.
In 2008, confirming many prophecies he had received, Rev. François Mbe was appointed General Superintendent of World Wide Missions Cameroon.
Family
Rev François and his wife Emilia have been married since 1993. They have four children (three girls and one boy). Rev François believes his wife is a helpmate sent from God and calls her his “precious co-laborer and collaborator”.
Rev François says “ My wife prays constantly for me and the ministry the Lord has called me to. She teaches Sunday School for children, holds women’s meetings, takes care of our children, and by the fruit of her business provides for many of our needs as a family. She is a huge support for me and our ministry and is not just a helper but a co-laborer in the Lord”.
Rev François is also grateful to the Lord for Brother Jon Smalldridge’s role as director of WWM Cameroon and believes the Lord has sent him in answer to the cries and prayers of His people. As the Lord sent Nehemiah and Ezra to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, He has sent Brother Jon to help in the rebuilding of World Wide Missions Cameroon and to restore the worship of the Most High God in our organization. May the Lord bless him!
VISION:
He believes his vision for WWM Cameroon is the same vision that has existed from WWM Cameroon’s beginning: establish the Church on the solid foundation of the Word of God and REACH the LOST with the preaching of the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and to extend love of Christ and His Word through social institutions such as schools, hospitals, jails and wherever God opens the doors.
A Word from Rev Francios to those who serve in World Wide Missions Cameroon:
World Wide Missions Cameroon has gone through a time of sorrow and disorder and lacked identity and image. Let us work together as servants of the Living God, to bring back our real identity and portray a worthy and Godly image of WWMC.
Let us be careful to avoid recruiting people or churches with whom we have no resemblance, or those who have no interest in following with us in our ways of service. We want to be a church of “like precious faith”, united together as a family. As the Bible says “Let us work hard and redeem the time. (Ephesians 5:14-16) Let us obey the commandment of the Master "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life,"
OUR MAIN GOAL MUST BE TO WIN THE LOST FOR CHRIST. He said: "Therefore go into the highways and as many as you find invite to the wedding." Matt22: 9.
Who knows what great and mighty things the Lord will do in World Wide Missions Cameroon and in our own lives and ministries as we follow the vision He has given. AMEN!
